@hypolite I see posts bitching about Friendica today.

Did they contact you or another dev about their issues or are they just bitching to the sky like most people do?

@:akko_angery: Kingu No, they just asked if you could block an entire platform from Mastodon because Friendica can use HTML <a> tags where the link label can be different from the link URL, which is apparently a crime according to them.

I'm confused just like you. I would understand if he demanded from the client software to always display the target domain next to the link. This would be a useful security feature.

@Jonathan Lamothe @Michael Vogel Apparently just letting Friendica users "hide" link URLs makes Friendica into an insecure software that shouldn't be trusted whole in the first place. Like they said, it's a "crime".
