We see the enormous, dinosaur-like birds from below, one just above and offset from the other, their white breasts in shadow while their short, fanned tails above their orange feet, their shoulders and their faces with those enormous orange bills like strange aeroplane noses, are catching the bright morning sunlight. Both birds have their wings fully outstretched, the tips bold, striking stripes of black that fan out to fingertips along the outer edges. They appear to lift up and away from us, ready to bank and curve for another sail over the river far below.
