It might be pleasurable, not to mention profitable, to establish a #GitCoin as a means to reward those who put in their time and effort to seek out #bugs in #OpenSource repositories published on #GitHub.
Also, an open-source, from-the-ground-up implementation of #cryptocurrency in Erlang using OTP might be fun, useful, and instructive.

I highly doubt such a thing would be useful or profitable (unless you are a scammer).

It's not valuable education, and the knowledge gained is a net negative.
Some people have ideas of fun that strike me as perverse, so I can't say it won't be fun.

For me, learning to implement communication protocols, file formats, encryption algorithms, and the like is fun, especially in a language like Erlang, which was designed expressly for that purpose. And it is my view that there is no such thing as a bad knowledge, only bad ways to apply some knowledge.
At the risk of starting the obvious, I enjoy our discussions. To my recollection, my arguments have never changed your positions. Still, our chats always leave me something of value to me. Thanks, mate.
