One of the neater* things here is you can follow hashtags. My main ones are #BikeNite and #Monsterdon , though I follow many more.

My instance is clunky, but such a dynamic is infinitely preferable to the ads, tracking, and arbitrary rules of big social media platforms. It’s honestly a reminder to touch grass and look at stars a little more often.

I’m also an artist, flower/astronomy/particle accelerator/bridge/roller coaster enthusiast, and chronic reposter. Poems and shitposts get in there pretty often.
