If you are experiencing this heat wave and have neighbours who lack air conditioning, please think about taking the time to bring them into your home for a short break, or drive them somewhere they can cool down.
Seniors, chronically ill, disabled, and children are especially vulnerable to heat stroke.

Well, we have it, but only a portable machine that's only powerful enough for the bedroom.

I was targeting my post to people like your neighbours because you are one of the people who need a break.
I am familiar with those portable ac units and they can't keep up with this heat.

I wish you all the best as you cope with the heat. I know it is a struggle because I have been in a situation where we didn't have AC and the heat was unbearable. It's awful. And high temp like this really is wearing on not only your physical but also your mental health.

I am not sure which one of us you are speaking to but
I am ok, thank you. There is ac in my building, so as long as we don't have a blackout and the ac continues to function we will be alright.
@me might need a break though because those portable ac units are not efficient during this type of heatwave. They can't keep up with these kind of temperatures.
