Yup. Weβve been with Rogers for years. Bell before that. I wish I could bill them for the hours Iβve spent on the phone trying to sort out billing or service issues.
@KimberlyN π¨π¦ @Jonathan I'll put it this way: I left on a mental health leave. Midway through it, I realized that nothing in the job that had caused its necessity was going to change, so I just never went back.
@KimberlyN After a year of being with Rogers (over 10 years ago now), and them screwing up my bill EVERY month for 6 months, I vowed to never use rogers directly again.
I had been happy overall with teksavvy for internet, when I had them, but I hear they are worse now. I was a big fan of Start.ca before they were bought by Telus.
My current ISP, I'm only with because they were my employer at one time, and I still know people on the inside, so I can run around the whole residential support phone tree quagmire when I need to.
I know for lots of people, there are no third party ISPs that service their area, especially in rural areas.
So I quit out of the chat which was going to take 51 minutes to reach an agent. And I was in the middle of doing other things when I got a phone call from Bell.
The charge is a complete error and will be reversed. So that's good. Why there was a $200 modem charge on my account when they didn't touch my modem is beyond me.
$200 is a lot of money for people. This is the difference between food and not food. Maybe they could get it right.
I wish it was worth my time to take the 2.5 shares of Bell Canada that I've owned since I was a child and merch into their shareholders meeting and complain. Put it on the agenda and everything. Hah
worst deal for consumers ever, Rogers buying SHAW, total crap show - promises of no price hikes or service changes but we literally shout fight with them EVERY month for over billing and killing channels
CRTC are useless fucks, not even an acknowledgment of complaints
yup. There's not even another company really to go to. I was with Roger's many years. It wasn't any better. I moved to Bell because they did give me cheaper rates on my phone. I didn't expect the service to be better and lo and behold it is not.

Sigh.

Telus is just down right scary.
