@calvin 🛋️ The first time I heard this substitution used, it confused me. Someone was talking about their Wi-Fi bill, and I thought, "wait, that's a bill?"
"The Internet" now refers to: A browser made by Google or MS, Facebook, Twitter, a bank's web site, a phone, online casino, or the hamster dance.
It does not refer to: A global network of computers, ethernet, or whatever hacker thing you're doing with telnet in "a shell" I'm gonna call the FBI on you if you start WW3.

I guess it's kinda like internet vs. web
