ok #fountainPen / #fountainPens folks

i was just given an old Parker

can anyone help ID? I've never even looked at Parkers haha

edit to add so it's not hiding in the comments: it's MINIMUM 40 years old

edit again: so I think the giver might have mixed something up? As @me and @dave have guessed, it appears to be a Parker Urban, a pen introduced in either 2007 or 2009 (have read two different numbers now)

@dave pointed me at this inklode.com/fountain-pens/park… which really is a dead ringer for it down to the nib (other than the silver rather than gold)

So.....guess I will talk to her again? Weird cause she was quite sure it was from high school or college, and she's in her late 50s or 60s

a pen cap stood up. it's got a sort of arrow-shaped pen clip with more arrow designs on it to amplify the shape. it's a black cap and the clip, finial, and center band are gold(ish?)
full pen, capped, lying on its side with converter in the background. it's got a rather interesting shape - the barrel dips inward, then outwards again towards the end of the pen
close up on uncapped pen in my hand. trim ring is again gold(ish) as is the part of the section closest to the nib. the nib is a silver tone and reads PARKER (i can't see an indication of nib size though)

@lee I believe that's a Parker GT Urban. They still make it in ballpoint but not fountain pen any more.

I have two of them because I lost the original, replaced it, and then found it again.

that the Urban is rom 2007 onwards, which entirely rules it out
