I wring out old fire hoses to get that authentic maple syrup. You should try it sometime. It is a lot of work and that is why it is so expensive. I can't stand that imitation syrup. That is garden hose variety.

It has to be real maple syrup, not table syrups like Aunt Jemima or Vermont Maid. Those only end with houses being pancaked.
