nsfw filter doesn't filter organic coffee

@VegOS In the replies, the post text includes the handle (either in the raw BBCode or in the HTML profile link), so it is scanned alright.

I’d rather not introduce exceptions in the NSFW addon as it is meant to be as simple as possible. For more specific uses, please use the Advanced Filter Addon where you can define regular expressions. In this case, you’d want “vegan” to be its own word, which wouldn’t match “veganism”.

@Hypolite Petovan Thanks! - Alas I hate regular expressions, as I'm no developper. Can I tell the advanced filter not to scan handles?
Something like !@*@*.* Vegan could be *vegan*, if you get my idiotular expressions.

@VegOS To match “vegan” as a word, you can use the following expression: \bvegan\b

\b represents a non-word character, including the beginning and the end of the subject. The following simplified texts will be matched:

  • vegan
  • vegan cuisine
  • They are vegan
  • This is vegan, nut-free and organic
  • (vegan)

@Hypolite Petovan BTW, I am vegan but annoyed by the hype for surrogate food. How to exclude account handles from the filter?

@VegOS I don’t know, patterns work better with positive assertions, and what you asked is hard to formalize into a positive assertion. What I suggested to you wouldn’t match “@veganism.com”, but only because it’s “veganism”, as “@vegan.com” or “vegan@example.com” would be matched and result in a collapsed post.
