Give people powerful primitives and a way to arbitrarily combine them, and watch 99% of them leave you for someone who provided a complete program for a usecase they've envisioned, and the people will complain about the edge cases and missing features all the time, but still use that complete program over your powerful primitives. And that way, you've built a community filter that removes the lame 99% of people, and leaves you with the cool 1% you can enjoy being friends with and nerding out with about building programs which you've never dreamed of 😛
