Is there an #SDF-like service for #9front where you can just use drawterm from any old linux/bsd box and access an account on a plan9 machine on the web? I wouldn't need much bandwidth or storage, just one box to explore the OS on without having to worry about syncing a vm disk between my laptops. I know there's a web-based emulator, but they're kinda resource heavy for laptops (and kinda slow).
Argh. Any MetaARPA members using Nextcloud on #SDF? Looks like it's not been syncing correctly for all clients and you cannot sign into Web UI.
All files get error messages saying they're an unexpected 8192 bytes. Eventually I see a green checkmark, but it doesn't make things look stable.
Some comments on bboard indicate that Membership says we're under another DDOS. Why would someone target us for a DOS attack except pure mischief? 😠

Sdf mastodon is getting near impossible to use. At random times just goes away for unknown reasons or is in "maintainence mode" or get "rate limited message" just tying to scroll and read messages.
I know they are apologizing and asking for patience but patience is wearing thin.

Currently beta-testing a new SDF add-on for Blender, called Chisel.
I like it. It blends (pun intended) into Blender's UI / UX very well, comes with a very convenient quick menu, and features a custom ray-marching renderer.
Meshing of the SDF model is also very neat, using the Dual Contouring algorithm.
You can already buy it, but not every option that's visible in this screenshot is available yet in the current release.
