I LOVE how many easter eggs are picked up on, soundalike riffs, movie and TV samples, layers of social and political commentary and activism sometimes pretty obscure in the backing video, and props in the physical set. Although I was ALL IN on Ricky Bobby, I'm not sure what to do with my hands the entire show, that did not get picked up. Reckon you all are too polite. Also ALL THE CALLBACKS to previous shows and events' lore, Looking at you Wordsmith. Wow. And just so positive and supportive. It makes it super fun to spend 6 weeks producing and training to bring the noise.

CAVEATS: there are a couple not me glitches in the recording but hey my studio is a god damned garage sale of antiques and no muso can afford anything with RAM ever again...oof.
Yes this is 480p, again, my shit is an antiques road show and it took me days to try and get a decent render of the lightly edited show and chat kind of aligned. Also I feel bad even doing the live at 720p for our cousins that don't have the pipe or the gear.
Why is it even more distorted? Because I like it. Come to the live for higher def. I prefer ephemeral, so this is at least a document it happened.
What you are observing is pure spiteful bloody minded rage against the disease. Most days I have limited movement and energy. Bonus, I lost my voice despite being careful with show prep. Plus rolling out of bed to rock out is really a crime against rocking out. But with friends like you showing up, no way in hell I'm not going to throw down harder than I can.

I am performing my dark dance album manipulate in it's entirety for its 25th release anniversary. It was awesome reworking the material that sonically still kicks the llamas arse.
It saddens me the dark and dystopian themes are only more pertinent in these horrific times. But we will stomp together in solidarity.
Then of course synthpop cover bangers for the people. A few from my REPLICATE 1.0 album not previously performed live, and also a sneak preview debut.

I'm genuinely surprised that I haven't seen more on Fedi about #TransmissionLive. This is a huge fundraiser for #NotAPhase and #GoodLawProject, two excellent charities doing very different important things in the #trans space in the UK, with an all-star lineup.

Had a brilliant night last night seeing Corpus Delicti in Bristol. Well, it was a brilliant day - we went to the Shakespeare pub down by the harbourside for a lunchtime beer and had some excellent noodles at Chili Daddy beforehand. The gig was at Strange Brew, which confused people - we wound up following a bunch of other people behind what appeared to be building work to get to the entrance.
The support act was a band called Naut. I enjoyed them, though the vocals sounded a little murky (I know, with the style of music I like clarity’s not always a given, but there’s a difference between growly and possibly fuzzed by the microphone). Anyway, would not object to hearing them again.
Corpus Delicti themselves were fantastic. I hadn’t been sure if my husband would like them - he’s not into #GothMusic - but he reckoned it was the best gig I’d dragged him to. The venue was small enough for us to have a great view, the sound was excellent, the performances top-notch. Will definitely see them again if I get the chance. #goth #music #LiveMusic

#BuddyGuy displays a youthful spirit during his #TinyDeskConcert that makes you question if he really turns 90 this year. Once the #music starts, his subtle speaking voice transforms into a mighty instrument, demanding your attention. Guy wails on his polka dot Stratocaster, reminding us of his skill and showmanship. The title of his latest album, Ain't Done with the Blues, is not only apt but defiant.
The elder statesman of #blues is the last standing among his fellow architects of the genre like B.B. King, Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker. Throughout his career, he has collected every accolade possible, including a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, a Kennedy Center Honors award and the National Medal of Arts. He recently took home his ninth Grammy Award, this time for best traditional blues album.
His set starts with his rollin' 1991 classic "Damn Right, I've Got the Blues" and moves into "Hoochie Coochie Man," both songs a must for any Guy performance. Then newcomer Miles Caton exuberantly joins Guy to present a pair of signature songs from the 16-time Oscar nominated film, Sinners, in which both portray blues singer Sammie "Preacher Boy" Moore. But what kind of blues show would this be if they stuck to the script? Guy takes detours into the history of the blues, playfully challenging Caton to keep up. Caton proves to be more than up to the task, letting his own powerful vocals out to play. As Guy and Caton perform together, we see the journey of artistry, the interplay of a master teacher and a student.

In china visiting some family and we saw a sign for a small concert featuring mongolian artists. There was some really cool stuff but these guys (Taiga) were the most fun act of the night.
I haven't been to many live music venues so this was a treat, and watching the one guy mess with the synths live was super fun.

For my next themed online concert I will performing the album manipulate for its 25th anniversary. If chat shakes the room at the end, probably will do a cover or two from REPLICATE 1.0 not yet performed at recent concerts. Lace up your dancing boots and join us for a good solid futurepop, industrial, goth, synthpop, dark disco.
Last years' shows were overwhelming in the best way to make them happen but verily in the awesome community vibes, spirit and support from attendees. Chat of course is optional. A fine chance to stomp in solidarity, together!
The show will be kicking off a new live web concert series from our friends over at @nham
As always it will be free and anonymous to attend via a browser outside of corpo land, thanks to a rad band of artist colleagues and of course @owncast
