So I changed my #posteo password months ago, and apparently I never informed my #gitea server. No wonder password reset requests weren't working.

So, setting aside all the birdsite and uspol craziness going on right now, can anyone #ELI5 what's been going on with the whole #Gitea controversy. I've heard about it, but in all the craziness lately it kinda got glossed over.
