Uh-oh... I've screwed up managing my meds. It was a bit of a perfect storm that caused my system of redunant reminders to fail me.
I have one day of #ADHD meds left, and I run out of one of my other meds in less than a week.
Gotta call the pharmacy to tomorrow to get refills. I hope there isn't still a shortage, if so, I'm gonna have a bad time.
Aaaaand my #ADHD meds are back ordered... so that's fun.

Listen... if I were in danger of getting addicted, I wouldn't need daily reminders to keep me from forgetting to take them. 🤦♂️

Previous person I dated didn't believe ADHD was a real thing. I hope she got the ADHD diagnosis and medication she obviously needed.

Because I am f***ing baffled as to how it became popular to say “your disorder in particular is fake” about ADHD of all things.
I don't have it myself, but as far as I can tell, it's a neurological disorder like any other, and I don't see anybody sounding off about epilepsy or Parkinson's being fake.
@argv_minus_one I suspect people are uninformed about most things that don't affect them, and many things that do. That's my best explanation. They once heard someone say something and that's all they know about that thing.
@argv_minus_one another part is that some neurological disorders aren't obvious and people don't believe what they don't perceive.
@ARGVMI~1.PIF @Shae Erisson I think it just stems from neurotypicals not being able to comprehend the notion that other people's minds work differently from their own. I don't have this issue so much because I've spent my life surrounded by neurotypicals, so I see this fact first hand every day.
Because they fail to grasp this concept, they're led to the conclusion that we're lazy and/or simply lack willpower, and it's our fault for not just "buckling down". Sadly, they end up inadvertently gaslighting us as a result. I've had to work very hard to try to reverse this conditioning.

Been having some weird symptoms for like a week now. My casual resesrch reveals that it's in all likelihood nothing serious, but potentially not.
It's been going on for long enough that I should probably discuss it with my doctor, but I really don't want to because I know he'll use it as an excuse to take me off #ADHD meds again.
I'll probably wait until I've got my prescription refilled first.
Just booked an appointment with my doctor to renew my #ADHD meds again. Now it's time to play my favourite game: is he going to fight me on this prescription again?
Hooray! I finally talked my doctor into letting me go back on #ADHD meds. He pushed back, as expected, but I might actually be able to do things again.

Even with that, I would recommend checking the FDA Drug Shortage[1] list about a month before each refill. I've seen various ADHD meds listed there, though not yet the ones prescribed to me.

I had a little bit of a backlog for a while because I kept forgetting to take them, but then there was a shortage and I burned through it.
