Nice article -- I'm pretty sure that the namespace features of the Linux kernel were influenced by Plan 9, though they do look different.

I used to use Org's to-do features a lot but I've recently gone all simple, I bought a really small notebook that can fit in my pocket. I jot down to-dos and notes as I go about my day. I'm not tied to my computer or my phone. I love that. I love how simple it is. I still use the Org Agenda to keep tabs on things that have a schedule or a deadline, though.

I'm trying to take the lowest tech route possible these days.
