I guess with the influx of new users to the Fediverse, we're doing introductions now, so here's mine:

Is there a way to get #LibreWolf to sync bookmarks with #Firefox? I realize that this somewhat defeats the purpose of using LibreWolf.

Can you use Firefox addon in LibreWolf? I'm using
buku
and bukubrow
for a couple of days as cross-browser + CLI bookmark manager, so far it works really nice for me. But I'm using it only with Firefox and occasionally Chromium.+1 for openboard. Works fine. The autocorrupt could work a little better, but otherwise no complaints.
I'm a double thumbpecker though, so don't miss the swipe.

Floris board is pretty nice. Its under pretty heavy development. Previous stable release was a bit unstable, but a recent release saw a major rework.
Has swype typing. Also, unusually, support for device encryption (can use it for first unlock after booting).
Had various other features, including what I think was a unique "screen" with options for quickly moving through and selecting text. that hopefully will come back.

Just finished reading The Iliad. Now it's time to decide: do I continue on to The Odyssey, or do I take a break and read The Apollo Murders instead? I can't decide. #Books #Reading #AskFedi #AskFediverse
I think I'm going to go forward with The Iliad for now. I can always switch later if I so choose. (Shocking, I know.)
I found the styles a little different (same translator) but the Odyssey isn't the Iliad II and so a break would be OK, I reckon.
https://alternativeto.net/software/google-authenticator/?license=opensource (but myself tried nothing of them).
I've already got one, but I'm going to keep that website handy for future reference. Thanks! π
I have my OTPs in a Keepass database. I can then copy the DB file around and break from dependence on a specific device
So this whole #Friendica #SelfHosting experiment has been a smashing success. This will be the last post I boost from my legacy accounts, and I'll be checking them with less frequency. If you've not followed the new account, now would be a good time.
I want to extend a special thanks to opencube and fosstodon for giving me my first taste of the #fediverse.

•On the IT Professional side, it's also amazingly easy to manage remote client sites that way, rather than having to use a dedicated tool (HyperVManager, VMWare ESXi thingy, VirtualBox, etc.)

•Qemu is slow unless you install the accelerator. But that makes it unstable.
I use VirtualBox nowadays, although not very often.
