@superball the principle that volume grows as the third power ('cube') of the size of something, but the surface area grows as the second power ('square')
At some point you run into problems like being able to do enough gas exchange or physically hold up the mass of a solid body.
Basically, math means you can't have giant ants (or locusts, or spiders, orβ¦)

Okay, I recognize the style guide of these captions. I used to work for the company that did them. Whoever did these ones got sloppy (as did whoever did the QA). Either that or they've started leaning into AI like everyone else. #monsterdon

Well, the first thing I notice about this movie is that I used to work for the company that did the closed captioning. I'd recognize their style guide anywhere. π

@R.L. Dane π΅ The immediate telltale sign is that every time there's a change of speaker, the caption group starts with hyphen, space. Whenever I see that, I find that every other rule from their style guide is followed as well. You usually don't see that.
Ah, I've seen that before. Helpful when reconstructing a script from the captions.

Are you on Miru? If so, yes. Usually a pre-show (episode of a Japanese monster TV show) and a post show, usually a whole other feature film somehow connected to the main event
